"Peri & Pause exists because I spent years watching women walk into my exam room knowing something had changed, with no one willing to connect the dots.

As a family nurse practitioner, I saw it over and over: women in their 40s and 50s dealing with fatigue, anxiety, brain fog, poor sleep, weight changes, joint pain - just not feeling like themselves anymore. And too often, the answer they got was 'that's just stress' or 'that's just aging.'

I knew that wasn't good enough.

Perimenopause and menopause affect every woman, yet the hormonal shifts driving this stage of life are still routinely dismissed, despite how deeply they touch physical, emotional, and metabolic health. That's the gap Peri & Pause was built to close.

We don't believe you can split a woman into a list of separate diagnoses, or reduce her care down to hormones alone. Hormonal change ripples into mood, sleep, heart health, metabolism, blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid function, weight, diabetes risk, bone health, sexual health - all of it. Every part of a woman's health is connected, and her care should reflect that.

Our mission is to treat the whole woman: evidence-based, individualized care that helps her understand what's actually happening in her body, get her overall health on track, and feel like herself again.

Because menopause was never just about hormones. It's about the woman living through the changes in them."
