About Peri & Pause
Peri & Pause is a dedicated midlife women’s healthcare practice with in-person clinic locations in the Fuquay-Varina and (soon to be) North Raleigh area of North Carolina. We offer virtual care statewide. We specialize in expert, compassionate care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. These years bring unique changes that affect health, energy, and quality of life — and yet, this stage is often overlooked in traditional healthcare.
We provide comprehensive perimenopause and menopause care, including evidence-based hormone therapy, personalized treatment plans, annual exams, preventive screenings, and support for issues such as sleep, mood, weight, bone health, and cardiovascular risk. Care is available both in person and virtually across North Carolina, making it easier to get the specialized attention you deserve.
Because midlife health is about more than physical symptoms, we also offer short-term, problem-focused counseling as an added resource for patients who may benefit from additional support during this transition.

HOW DID PERI & PAUSE COME TO BE?
Peri & Pause was founded because too many women were being dismissed, misunderstood, or left without answers during one of the most important transitions of their lives. We heard the same stories over and over again:

These messages are not only discouraging — they’re simply not true.
